Plate 09 / 16 · Hard

Which tile completes the second pair?

Tap the option you think is right, or show the answer.

Show the answer

The missing panel shows a large hatched triangle pointing up on its own (option 6).

How to solve it

  1. Compare the first two panels and name exactly what changed.
  2. The small circles are removed.
  3. The whole figure turns a quarter turn counterclockwise.
  4. Nothing else changes.
  5. Apply the same changes to the third panel: a large hatched triangle pointing right, with small solid shapes: a circle at the bottom.
  6. So the missing panel shows a large hatched triangle pointing up on its own.

About this puzzle
