How to solve it
- Compare neighboring tiles and name what changes each time.
- From tile to tile, one more circle is added.
- The fill cycles solid, outline and hatched, then starts again.
- Everything else stays the same from tile to tile.
- The last tile shows three hatched circles. Apply each change once more.
- So the missing tile shows four solid circles.
About this puzzle
Medium sequences combine two changes, so you have to track two attributes at once. It was generated by the same engine that builds the IQ Octopus test, from a fixed seed, so it stays the same every time you visit. In the real test, items like this are generated fresh for every attempt.
