Which tile completes the second pair?

Tap the option you think is right, or show the answer.

Show the answer

The missing panel shows a large solid square, with small solid shapes: a diamond at the left side and a diamond at the bottom-left corner (option 2).

How to solve it

  1. Compare the first two panels and name exactly what changed.
  2. The main shape and the small shapes swap forms: the main shape takes the form of the small ones, and the small ones take the form of the main shape.
  3. The whole figure turns a quarter turn counterclockwise.
  4. Nothing else changes.
  5. Apply the same changes to the third panel: a large solid diamond, with small solid shapes: a square at the top and a square at the top-left corner.
  6. So the missing panel shows a large solid square, with small solid shapes: a diamond at the left side and a diamond at the bottom-left corner.
